The
two Anglican Ministers who ‘blew the whistle’ on the handling by the
Adelaide Diocese of the Anglican Church of child sex abuse allegations, will
hold a media conference today following the tabling of the report of the
independent Inquiry into their allegations. Reverends
Don Owers and Andrew King – the Anglican Ministers who held a media conference
on 22 May 2003 calling for an inquiry into the church’s handling of the abuse
claims – will hold the media conference today at 3:15pm at the Plaza Room
following the anticipated tabling in Parliament of the report of the inquiry by
former Supreme Court Justice Trevor Olsson and Dr. Donna Chung.
